Appointment & Fees

A valid referral from your GP or non-GP specialist is required to make an appointment with us.

Your First Appointment

Bring with you:

• A referral from your doctor

• Any pathology, x-rays, medication lists and any other past medical history documents that are relevant to your condition

• Your Medicare / DVA card, private health fund card and pension / healthcare card if you have one

Inpatient Consultations

For inpatient consultations at St John of God Geraldton Hospital, Dr Nguyen participates in a ‘No-gap’ arrangement with most private health insurance providers. Please check your level of private hospital insurance cover prior to any consultation.

Outpatient Consultations

For our outpatient clinic, we are a private billing practice and not a bulk billing practice. At present, payment is required before  the day of the consultation. Further details of this will be sent to you prior to booking. Your Medicare rebate will be processed on the day and the funds will be sent to your nominated bank account.

Invoicing

Your invoice will be finalised at the conclusion of your appointment. For your convenience, your invoice/receipt can be electronically transferred to Medicare.  Your refund will be deposited directly into your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days.

If you anticipate having difficulty with paying your account in full on the day, please speak to us at the time of booking to make alternative arrangements for payment.
